I've been given the opportunity to help out with a great organization lead by the beautiful duo, Sallome and Jamilah . Tuesday we gathered to write some grant applications, because even though these ladies have been doing so much good for their community for free so far, money is needed to keep the torch going. The ever so lovely Brent has done this kind of thing before for his own projects at the high school he teaches at, so he guided us down the path.

(we also had a lovely lunch of eggplant shepherds pie followed by flaxseed brownies and fresh cut fruit....but with everything going on, I forgot to take pics!!)
