This year however, I am far away from them and the tradition of street parading....For a minute I toyed with the idea of celebrating with my American friends, and continue the tradition here, but when I found out it is the exact same weekend that my hubbie-to-be is going to be away for his first ever art show - I decided to ditch the idea.
Imagine my surprise when my breakfast tradition decided to show up on my doorstep anyway with a detour in Canada.
My cutie friend Jessica came down for a visit with her boyfriend Jeremy and their friend (and now mine) Sebastian. So this morning, after just a few hours of sleep (we didn't go to sleep before 4am), I got up and fired up the oven.
On the menu; Apricot croissants, pancakes, bacon, eggs, jams, fresh fruits and baguette. Everyone got specific instructions not to walk away from the table before it was all consumed and luckily two more guests came by to help us with our mission.
My Jelsen was so missed.

Gratulerer med dagen!

Tror faktisk du har hatt en bedre 17 mai i NY enn du ville hatt i Oslo. KALDT!!!!
